Update: High Bungay Road Drainage Issue

We’ve had an update from Norfolk County Council regarding the ongoing drainage problem on High Bungay Road.

There are two connected issues:

• The existing channel is defective and needs replacing

• One of the gullies is not working due to what appears to be a damaged pipe

Because of the scale of the work required, this will be delivered as a small drainage scheme in the New Year, likely to be delivered early March.

Please note, the works will also be subject to approval for a road closure by the Streetworks Team.
