📢 Temporary Road Closure – High Bungay Road, Loddon
9–20 December 2025 (with possible extension to 31 January 2026)

Norfolk County Council has issued notice of a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order affecting C395 High Bungay Road, from its junction with Leman Grove and extending 240 metres northwards.

This closure is required to allow CityFibre Metro Networks to carry out fibre installation works for the BDUK rollout.

⛔ Road Closure Details

  • Expected closure: 9th–20th December 2025

  • Possible extended period: Up to 31st January 2026, if works overrun

  • Access: Pedestrian access maintained

  • Vehicular access: Allowed for residents whose final destination lies within the closure, where signage permits access

👉 Please note: A gateman will be on site to assist vehicles needing access to Davey Place via High Bungay Road.

🔀 Diversion Route

Traffic will be diverted via:
High Bungay Road → Beccles Road → Loddon Bypass

ℹ Additional Information

  • The Order will automatically end once works are complete, or on 31 January 2026, whichever comes first.

  • The restriction could legally remain in place for up to 18 months, if required.

  • Ignoring the closure is an offence and may result in a £1,000 fine and/or licence endorsement.

  • If the start date changes, updated signage will appear on site.
