NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the 1) A146 Loddon Bypass from its junction with C395 Bungay Road for 2089m north-westwards; 2) C203 Mundham Road from its junction with A146 Loddon Bypass for 413m south-westwards; and 3) C203 George Lane from its junction with A146 Loddon Bypass for 32m north-eastwards; in the PARISH OF LODDON because of safety reasons during the construction of a new roundabout.
The roads 1), 2) and 3) will be temporarily subject to a 40mph speed restriction from 6th September 2021 to 31st March 2022 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 207 days within the period.
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order)
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.

ORDER imposing a 40mph speed restriction on the:-
1)A146 Loddon Bypass from its junction with C395 Bungay Road for 2089m north-westwards (hereinafter referred to as the said road (a));
2)C203 Mundham Road from its junction with A146 Loddon Bypass for 413m south-westwards (hereinafter referred to as the said road (b)); and
3)C203 George Lane from its junction with A146 Loddon Bypass for 32m north-eastwards (hereinafter referred to as the said road (c));
in the PARISH OF LODDON
1.Whereas the Norfolk County Council as Traffic Authority for the Administrative County of Norfolk is satisfied that for safety reasons, to facilitate works for the construction of a roundabout, are required at the said roads (a), (b) and (c) and that in consequence, traffic over the said roads should be restricted with effect from 6th September 2021 to 31st March 2022 for the duration of the works expected to be about 207 days within the period.
2.This Order has a maximum duration of 18 months and will be revoked upon completion of the works. Where exceptional circumstances are encountered during the performance of the works specified in this Order the operational period of this Order may become extended to allow completion of the works after obtaining consent of the Secretary of State.
3.No speed limit imposed by this Order applies to vehicles falling within Regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with Regulation 3(5) of those Regulations.
NOW THEREFORE the Norfolk County Council DO HEREBY ORDER, that with effect from 6th September 2021 to 31st March 2022 for the duration of the works the said roads (a), (b) and (c) SHALL BE SUBJECT to the imposition of a 40 mph Speed Restriction.
