Service Spotlight - NEW Norfolk Integrated Domestic Abuse Service

25 January 2022

2022, NIDAS

A major new service to improve support for victims of domestic abuse was launched in Norfolk on 3 January 2022.

Norfolk Integrated Domestic Abuse Service (NIDAS) is a domestic abuse support service for those classed as high and medium risk. The service offers dedicated support for children and young people, recovery programmes, coordinated multi-agency support, court support, a domestic abuse champion network and training for professionals.

The service is countywide and is the first system of its kind in the county. The partnership is delivered by five service providers – Leeway, Orwell Housing, Pandora Project, Daisy Programme and Safe Partnership. The service has been commissioned and shaped by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner in Norfolk (OPCCN), Norfolk County Council, Norwich City Council, South Norfolk and Broadland District Councils.
