Road Closure Hales & Heckingham

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (STRO10533) affecting the U76348 School Lane from 380m south of its junction with C385 Norton Road for 40m southwards in the PARISH OF HALES AND HECKINGHAM to facilitate Anglian Water meter exchange works.
The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 20th May to 22nd May 2024 for the duration of the works expected to be about 3 days within the period.
Alternative route is via: School Lane, Norton Road, Sandy Lane, A146 Beccles Road, B1136 Yarmouth Road (Hales and Heckingham, Loddon).
If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order.
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
