Planning Application 2021/2437 & 2021/2522, Beccles Road, Loddon: The planning application for 171 dwellings with access, parking, open space and landscaping and outline planning permission for a phased development for the erection of 9 self-build dwelling on Beccles Road was approved at South Norfolk Council's (SNC) Development Management Committee on the 2 August 2023. LTC Cllrs attended, and disappointingly LTC’s request for a revised layout was not taken into consideration. Due to ‘Nutrient Neutrality’, SNC cannot demonstrate a five-year land supply for housing. Loddon is not affected by Nutrient Neutrality and is very vulnerable to speculative planning applications.
