🚧 Planned Road Closures & Speed Restriction – C203 Mundham Road, George Lane, Link Road & A146 Loddon Bypass (Loddon Parish)

📅 Works planned from: 23 July to 2 September 2025
⏳ May extend until 2 March 2026 if required.
🛠️ Reason: Footway scheme works.

🚫 Temporary Road Closures:

  • Road A: C203 Mundham Road – from A146 Roundabout for 445m SW

  • Road B: C203 George Lane – from A146 Roundabout for 110m east

  • Road C: U76486 Link Road – from C206 for 63m west

⚠️ Speed Restriction:

  • Road D: A146 Loddon Bypass – 30mph limit from A146/1110 Roundabout for 300m north and 900m south (including the roundabout itself)

🚶‍♂️ Pedestrian access will be maintained.
🚗 Access for vehicles to properties within the closure zones (Roads A–D) will be permitted where signed access is possible.

🔁 Diversion Routes:

  • Road A: A146, Norwich Rd, Loddon Rd, B1332 Bungay Rd, The Street, Hunstead Lane, Brooke Rd, Loddon Rd, Mundham Rd

  • Road B: A146, Norwich Rd, Bridge St, George Lane

  • Road C & D: No formal diversion

🗺️ Affected villages include: Framingham Pigot, Poringland, Kirstead, Mundham, Framingham Earl, Chedgrave, Kirby Bedon, Brooke, Yelverton, Seething, Ashby St. Mary, Loddon, Sisland, Thurton, Caistor St. Edmund, Bixley, Holverston.

Important:
Contravening the closure or speed limit may result in a fine of up to £1000 and/or penalty points.
