📢 Planned Night-Time Road Closures – A146 Loddon Road (Loddon Parish)


🚧 Norfolk County Council is giving advance notice of temporary road closures and restrictions on parts of the A146 Loddon Road to allow essential road stud replacement works.


🕗 When:
From 8:00pm on Tuesday 22 July 2025 to 6:00am on Wednesday 23 July 2025.
⚠️ Closures may continue intermittently up to 3 September 2025, if necessary.

📍 Affected Roads (not closed at the same time):

  • Road A: From 50m SE of Bramerton Lane junction for 783m

  • Road B: From Slade Lane junction for 1000m SE

  • Road C: From Yarmouth Roundabout to Mundham Road Roundabout

🚙 Diversion Route:
A clearly signed diversion will be in place via:
A146 Beccles Rd, Loddon Bypass, Norwich Rd, B1332 Bungay Rd, The Street, A143 Yarmouth Rd, Broome Bypass, Kirby Cane Bypass, and more – covering local villages such as Poringland, Brooke, Loddon, and Ditchingham.

🚶‍♂️ Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout.
🚗 Access to properties and final destinations within the closure area will be allowed where safe and indicated.
