New LED Floodlights Installed at Loddon Tennis Courts

Loddon Town Council is pleased to announce the installation of new LED floodlighting at the Loddon Tennis Courts, enhancing the facilities for players throughout the year, particularly during the darker winter months when additional lighting is essential.

The project was delivered by Loddon Town Council on behalf of the Loddon & Chedgrave Playing Field Committee. The Council extends its thanks to Boggis Electrical, the appointed contractor, for their professional installation and their work to ensure that the new lighting provides excellent court coverage while keeping light pollution to a minimum.

This upgrade represents a significant improvement to the tennis facilities and supports the continued growth of local sport and recreation in the community. The courts remain a valuable asset to the area, used by club members and also available to residents through a Pay & Play option.

A spokesperson for Loddon Town Council said:
“We are delighted to see this investment completed. These improvements will allow more people to enjoy tennis all year round and further strengthen the provision of high-quality sports facilities in our community.”
