LODDON TOWN COUNCIL

An OUTSTANDING 800 CROCUS BULBS were planted around Loddon, last Sunday, for us all to enjoy next Spring! 🌱🌷

I feared we might have overstretched ourselves this time.…but I should have known better!  

Some of the wonderful 1st LODDON BROWNIES and their families came to the rescue and joined the Love 💚 Loddon Community Group volunteers to plant bulbs in the verge along the Beccles Road again.  Great job 🙌 and a HUGE thanks to the children and especially Tawny Owl & True Owl, who work so hard to ensure the Brownies continue to enjoy such activities, and to Shaun & Henry who were volunteered by Mervyn 🙏

Thanks also to the rest of the Love 💚 Loddon gang! Jonathan, Mim, Roy, Claire, Jo, Carol, Mike, Bev, Carol & Bernard who planted around Aelfric at Farthing Green and at the entrance to Church Plain.

We are also most grateful to Three Rivers Veterinary Group for kindly permitting us to use their car park.

Our last event of 2025 will be community leaf sweeping on Church Plain, Sunday 30th of November at 10am.  Go on….pick up a rake and join us! 🧹🍂
