Loddon Town Council – Community Grants Update for 2025/26
Loddon Town Council is pleased to share an update on the allocation of its 2025/26 Community Grants Fund, which aims to support local organisations, events, and initiatives that contribute to the wellbeing and vibrancy of our community.
For the current financial year, the Council allocated £2,000 to the Community Grants budget. Between April 2025 and January 2026, grants totalling £1,180.58 were awarded to a wide range of community groups and projects, including:
• Loddon & District Horticultural Society – contribution toward hall hire for a community event.
• Loddon Unity Football Club – support with the cost of pitch vertidraining.
• Holy Trinity Church – contribution toward essential clock repair works.
• Royal British Legion Loddon – support with the creation of VE Day plaques.
• Chet Contact – contribution to ongoing running costs.
• Loddon & Chedgrave Arts Festival – help with event delivery costs.
• Kirby Cane Estates – contribution to permissive path maintenance between Kirby Cane Parish Footpath and the Hales Hall bridleway.
• Loddon Victorian Evening – funding for the Punch and Judy show.
• Once Upon a Tune – contribution toward the cost of delivering a children’s workshop.
As of 4 March 2026, the fund has a remaining balance of £819.42 available for eligible groups.
How to Apply
Local voluntary organisations, community groups, and event organisers are encouraged to submit applications if they require assistance for projects that benefit residents of Loddon. Guidance, criteria, and application forms are available on the Council’s website at: www.loddontowncouncil.gov.uk
