LODDON REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE – ROAD CLOSURES

Please be aware that temporary road restrictions will be in place on Sunday 8 November 2026 to facilitate the Loddon Remembrance Day Parade.

 Road closures:

Norwich Road, Bridge Street, Church Plain and High Street, from the junction with Langley Road to the junction with High Bungay Road.

 Expected closure time: 10.30am – 11.30am.

During the parade, vehicular traffic will be temporarily restricted, except for emergency access. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

The restrictions will be in place only as necessary during the event.

Church Plain Car Park will be closed for two hours between 9.30am-11.30am to allow people to safely attend the open-air Remembrance Sunday service. The car park will remain open to permit holders and disabled users, but please avoid parking in the five spaces in front of the War Memorial.

The event is being organised by Loddon Town Council and Loddon and District RBL, and we thank everyone for their patience and co-operation while the community comes together to remember those who have served and sacrificed.

 We look forward to seeing the community come together to honour Remembrance Day.
