Loddon, C395 High Bungay Road - Road closure

Norfolk County Council will be carrying out drainage improvement works opposite the junction with Gunton Road and the C395 High Bungay Road. The road will be closed from Monday, 2 March 2026 to Friday, 13 March 2026.

Works are required to replace a damaged drainage channel, improve the existing drainage, and carry out localised carriageway repairs,


A signed diversion route will be in operation throughout the closure.

Alternative Route: Beccles Road, A146 Loddon Bypass.

Access: Throughout the closure, residents of C395 High Bungay Road, Gunton Road, and properties located off Gunton Road will have continuous access, with on-site management ensuring entry at all times.

Emergency access will be available at all times


The County Council thanks people for their patience while this drainage improvement work is carried out.

The work which will cost £20,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Infrastructure Department and their contractors.
