TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2020
Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)
In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to Anglian Water emergency repairs the use by vehicles of the U76344 Sandy Lane from its junction with A146 Beccles Road for 50m northwards in the PARISH OF HECKINGHAM will be temporarily prohibited from 19th November 2020 to 25thNovember 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 7 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.
Alternative route is via: A146 Beccles Road, C554 Beccles Road C385 Norton Road, U76344 Sandy Lane (Hales/ Heckingham/ Loddon).
(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order)
The Notice dated 13th November 2020 in respect of this location is hereby revoked.
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
