Elections in 2021

On Thursday 6 May 2021 residents in South Norfolk will go to the polls to have their say on who represents them at Norfolk County Council and as the Norfolk Police and Crime Commissioner. In a small number of parishes there may also be by-elections or Neighbourhood Planning Referendums.

The elections will take place at a time when Covid-19 continues to present risks to public health.  Depending on the infection rate, measures taken to control the spread of the virus may change as we approach May.  However, we are working on our plans to help ensure you can stay safe when casting your vote in May.

Due to the uncertainty of Covid-19, the Council is alerting residents to the possibility of voting by post, should they prefer, rather than visiting the polling station.
