Community Action Norfolk (CAN)

14 January 2025

Sharing on behalf of Community Action Norfolk:

Within its place-based approach Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) recognises the importance of the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector in supporting communities across Norfolk.  Moving forward, it is vital that the ICB develops a better understanding of the services the VCSE Sector delivers and the factors affecting their delivery.

This survey undertaken by Community Action Norfolk (CAN) will explore the landscape of available support across West and North Norfolk.  It also seeks to widen understanding of the strengths, challenges and opportunities faced by the VCSE Sector.  Furthermore, it is an opportunity for organisations of all sizes to share their experiences and have their voices heard.

The survey results and accompanying research will be used to:

• Develop a more detailed picture of the services delivered by the VCSE Sector.

• Develop a better understanding of the gaps to inform future priorities.

• Inform stakeholders of the work the VCSE sector does, the factors affecting it and what it feels are the opportunities moving forwards to support greater awareness and understanding.

• Support the development of a stronger VCSE Sector in West and North Norfolk.

You and/or your organisation do not have to be involved in health to contribute to this research and make a difference.  We encourage all VCSE organisations operating in West and North Norfolk to take part in this survey, whether large or small, charities or social enterprises, faith or community groups.

Completing the survey will take about twenty minutes.  We know that this is a big ask, but the information you provide is vital in understanding and supporting the landscape we are all working in.  Thank you in advance and do share this with colleagues and partners.

You can access the survey here https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/NBED7R/ - until Monday 24th February 2025.
