🚧 Temporary Road Closures & Traffic Changes – Loddon 🚧

Norfolk County Council is proposing a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (STRO13605) to allow new fibre network installation works by CityFibre.

📍 Affected roads: Kittens Lane (C203), Loddon

What’s happening:

🔴 Road A
• Kittens Lane from High Bungay Road (C395)200 metres westwards
Fully closed to vehicles (pedestrian access only)

↔️ Road B
• Kittens Lane from Hobart Road (U76485)300 metres eastwards
One-way restriction suspended – traffic will be able to travel both eastbound and westbound

📅 Expected dates:
16 – 20 February 2026
• Works may continue (if needed) until 3 April 2026

🔁 Diversion route:
Kittens Lane → George Lane → Bridge Street → Church Plain → High Street

🚗 Access:
Vehicular access will be allowed to properties within the affected areas where signs indicate access is permitted.

ℹ️ Important notes:
• The Order will automatically end when works are complete or by 3 April 2026 at the latest
• If works overrun, restrictions can legally remain for up to 18 months
• Failing to comply may result in a fine of up to £1,000 and/or endorsement
• If the start date changes, updated dates will be shown on site
