🚧 Temporary Road Closure – Norton Road, Loddon 🚧
Norfolk County Council has announced a temporary road closure on Norton Road (C385) in Loddon to allow for essential cover and frame repairs by Anglian Water.
📍 Location: From the junction with Heckingham Holes, westwards for 233 metres
📅 Dates: Expected from 21st to 23rd April 2026
⏳ Note: Works may overrun, with restrictions potentially in place until 4th June 2026 if required
🚶 Access:
Road closed to vehicles during works (pedestrian access maintained)
Vehicle access will still be allowed where signage indicates access to final destinations
🔁 Diversion Route:
Via Norton Road → A146 Beccles Road → B1136 Yarmouth Road → Beccles Road → Loddon Road → Norton Road (covering surrounding areas including Norton Subcourse, Haddiscoe, Hales, Heckingham, Thurlton, and Raveningham)
⚠️ Important:
Failure to comply with the closure could result in a fine of up to £1,000 and/or penalty points.
