Norfolk County Council has announced a temporary road closure on C554 Beccles Road (from Town Farm Drive for 25m southwards) to allow for essential apparatus connection works.
๐ Closure dates: From 11th May to 22nd May 2026 โ ๏ธ May remain in place until 3rd July 2026 if required
๐ถโโ๏ธ Access:
Road closed to vehicles (pedestrian access maintained)
Vehicle access allowed where signage permits for final destinations
๐ Diversion route: Beccles Road โ High Street โ Church Plain โ Bridge Street โ George Lane โ A146 Loddon Bypass
โ ๏ธ Important: Ignoring the closure could result in a fine of up to ยฃ1000 and/or penalty points.
๐ The closure will be lifted as soon as works are completed (no later than 3rd July 2026 unless extended under regulations).
