🚧 Road Closure Notice – Hunstead Lane, Brooke 🚧

Norfolk County Council has issued a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (STRO14489) for Hunstead Lane (C203) in Brooke.

📍 Location: From the junction with The Street (C373), extending 850m south 📅 Dates: 6th – 12th April 2026 (updated from earlier dates) ⏳ Possible extension: Up to 24th May 2026 if required

The road will be closed to vehicles (pedestrian access only) while fibre network installation works are carried out.

🚗 Access: Vehicular access will be allowed where signage indicates access to properties/destinations is permitted.

🔁 Diversion Route: Via Brooke Road, Loddon Road, Mundham Road, A146, A143, B1332, and surrounding local roads through nearby villages.

⚠️ Important: Failure to comply with the closure may result in a fine of up to £1000 and/or penalty points.

📌 The closure will end as soon as works are completed (or by 24th May 2026 at the latest).
