Please be aware of a temporary road closure in the Parish of Brooke due to fibre network installation works.

📍 Location:
C203 Hunstead Lane (from its junction with C373 The Street, extending 850 metres south)

📅 Dates:
2nd April to 6th April 2026
(Closure will be lifted earlier if works are completed sooner)

🚫 Restriction:
No vehicle access during this period.

🔁 Diversion Route:
Brooke Road → Loddon Road → Mundham Road → A146 (Loddon Bypass/Beccles Road/Norwich Road) → A143 (Yarmouth Road/Kirby Cane Bypass/Broome Bypass) → B1332 Bungay Road → The Street
(Affecting surrounding areas including Stockton, Kirstead, Mundham, Ellingham, Ditchingham, Brooke, Broome, Hales, Woodton, Seething, Gillingham, Loddon, Kirby Cane, and Hedenham)

• Works are being carried out by Norfolk County Council

• The closure is necessary for safety during installation works

• Traffic restrictions will be enforced

• Failure to comply may result in a fine of up to £1000 and/or penalty points
