🚧 TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – LANGLEY ROAD, CHEDGRAVE 🚧
Norfolk County Council has issued a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order for C202 Langley Road, Chedgrave, to allow Anglian Water to carry out stop tap replacement works.
📅 Expected closure: Monday 21 September to Wednesday 23 September 2026
📍 The closure will affect Langley Road from its junction with Norwich Road for approximately 100 metres northwards.
🚶 Pedestrian access will be maintained. Vehicular access to properties will also be permitted where signs indicate that access is possible.
🔄 Alternative route:
Norwich Road → Loddon Bypass → Ferry Road → New Road → The Avenues → Staithe Road → Langley Road.
Please be aware that although the works are currently expected to be completed by 23 September, the closure may remain in place if necessary, up to 4 November 2026.
If the start date is delayed, the revised start date will be displayed on site in advance.
